About Annie Mess

With 24 years of experience, Annie Mess is a talented tattoo artist based in Austin, Texas, at 444 Tattoo. While her artistic passions also include pottery, sculpting, painting, and sketching, her true love lies in blackwork tattooing. Annie is dedicated to creating unique and meaningful art for each of her clients, and she deeply appreciates the trust they place in her to bring their visions to life.

Booking Information

To schedule an appointment with Annie, please email her assistant, who will assist you in coordinating your session.

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required for all appointments, which will be applied toward the total cost of your tattoo on the day of your appointment.
• Minimum Charge: Annie has a $400 minimum on all tattoos.
• Cancellation Policy: If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 72 hours before your appointment to avoid forfeiting your deposit. Only one reschedule is allowed per deposit, and the deposit is valid for one year. If you wish to reschedule after a year, a new deposit will be required.

To secure your spot, please send your deposit within 48 hours of booking, or the appointment will be offered to the next client.

The Tattoo Experience

Annie values collaboration with her clients. Once you provide a description and/or reference pictures, she will incorporate her unique artistic flair into the design. Please note that the final sketch will be ready on the day of your appointment, allowing for any adjustments to be made then. Annie also offers flash, which you can view on her Instagram stories.
